In heartbreaking news for all the Cyberpunk 2077 fans, the developer of the game has revealed some news. If you planned on having a blast with your friends with the multiplayer mode of Cyberpunk 2077, then you will have to wait.
Not until 2021, you will be able to play with the multiplayer mode. The developer of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red says that the multiplayer mode will not be able to surface till the year 2021.

All the news came out after the conversation between an investor and the Senior Vice President of the company’s business development. The delay in the release of Cyberpunk 2077 has extended again.
The game was all set to release in April but, now it has been delayed. Soon, the Cyberpunk 2077 will release in September in 2021. It will most probably have the multiplayer mode too.
The Senior Vice President of CD Projekt Red’s business development Michal Nowakowski recently talked to one of the investors. The investor questioned about Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer mode. He asked will the game surely have a multiplayer mode till 2021.
In answer to the question, Nowakowski said that it is most unlikely that the game’s multiplayer mode will launch in 2021. Adding to that, Nowakowski said that Cyberpunk 2077 initially decided to release it in September.
But, the numerous events which are most likely to occur after that date, it is unclear as for now that the Cyberpunk 2077 will release in 2021. Earlier the game was estimated to launch along with the multiplayer mode. That is the sole reason behind the delay of the game’s launch.
The cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer first-time talks in 2013. Then, with subtle formality again, it surfaced in the news in the year 2019. Then, the developers CD Projekt Red confirmed that it is still under development process.
CD Projekt Says Cyberpunk 2077 Arrive In 2021
Mr. Nowakowski also confirmed that the multiplayer mode of Cyberpunk 2077 would be its AAA game. An AAA game refers to a simple video game category where the publisher puts on a high budget on the marketing and development of the game. The AAA game is an analogous term to the word blockbuster in the context of movies. He also said that the team of developers has been working on it for a long time now.

These include the Final Fantasy series game the Final Fantasy seven, Resident Evil three, etc. Among these also the Final Fantasy three games were delayed. The developers of the Final Fantasy game series, the Square Enix, slowed the game’s release by one month.
The CD Projekt Red delayed the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 by almost five months. The company wants to give more time to the role-playing game.
They want to clarify the functionality. Along with its functionality, cyberpunk also wants to fix all the bugs and other issues related to the game. So, it will not be problematic when the users have it. Therefore, they are doing prior testing of the game.
